Dakar rally - Casteu broke his leg and is out!

Unfortunately French motorcycle rider David Casteu who won the first stage of the 2010 Dakar rally ran out of luck today when he crashed at kilometer 395 and broke his leg. A helicopter transported him out. The Dakar is over for this time...

Casteu was second in the overall after yesterdays stage, running his Sherco, and was expected to be in the finishing rounds as one of the top candidates of the motorcycle category in the 2010 Dakar rally.
