Dakar rally - the real deal starts now!

Up till now we´ve only seen the easy parts of the Dakar, eventhough there was rain, mud and slippery roads.

The next chapter in the Dakar is what it´s really all about, a contest, an adventure and some good luck to go with that  - don´t matter if you´re the amateur or the pro - it will be proven just how much of a fighter you are.
Both the newcomers and veterans are willing to sacrifice anything to reach the goal, but if you are hurt badly to the point of unconciousness, or if your vehicle fails - the withdrawal is a fact.

If you make it to the finishing line, you have accompished something that nearly 60% didn´t, you overcame your worst nightmares, you did it - you made it - you became a true Dakararian. The reward is simply the fact that you did get through, your memory to keep for a long, long time.

The route of today is the starting point of several days in the dunes. Time to separate the wheat from the chaff! 353 starts in the rally today, and far from all will reach the finishing line in Buenos Aires...
