Winner of the stage:
French motorcycle rider David Fretigne, starting number 12, won the second stage in the 2010 Dakar rally. Followed closely by Casteu (+43sec) and Coma (+01:08min)!

Swedish motorcyclist Thomas Berglund just passed the finishing line after completing the second stage, looks like he did it on a 15th position! Not confirmed as of yet. Great work Thomas!
Norweigan Pål Anders Ullevålseter passed the finishing as number 17th.
Up ahead: Ladies on two wheels and cars!
Annie Seel won the first stage victory yesterday in the Ladies cup, and so far she is the leading lady on stage 2, passed check point 1, and still some kilometers away from the finishing area. If continues driving like she has up till now, she could reach the finish among the top 35 riders!!! This is intense!
Chicherit and Tina Thörner got it going for sure - 3rd fastest car during the stage as of now, but there is some time to catch up and some time left before reaching the finish - lets not over do it!
Team Tubus racing had a hard day yesterday, being ill and all, hopefully todays driving felt better. On the first part of stage 2 they seem to be running in the top 30´s. Keep on going!
