What a day, the atmosphere in the car was cheerful, bubbly, funny, with a lot of ha ha experiences. Yes, we did get some sleep last night, the trucks starting at 03.30, causing movement at the camp. By 07.00 we took off, great atmosphere in the car, we had made our decision, to win or lose. 3 spare wheels, had the tires inflated to 2,8 bar. Sure thing is that if your´re going after Nasser or Carlos, who are both up for the titel, there is only one thing to do, hit the gas and don´t use your breaks too often. And we pulled it off! But the struggle we fought, Nasser who wasn´t gonna let us pass, out in the water, after leaving the dust behind. And nobody to see what went down. It was a stock car race in the 3 kilometer long stretch in the water, Nasser almost rolling over in his determination not to let us overtake him, blocking us.We did all reach the finishing line, we were awarded the winning position and he was fourth. Must have been forces of the universe, unbelievable we didn´t get any puncture? It was just meant to be and we had earnt it after ten days of various challenges.
A day where there was not a problems in sight, focused and prepared to face the battle - nothing is impossible!
