The 2011 Dakar rally came to an end. As always too quickly! My journey was an adventure in its own way being on spot following the race closely. Realizing that everyone, no matter your role, is running their own Dakar, and it all melts down to one thing: TIME. To get your story ready as the rally is moving forward, as well as yourself. Not an easy task to keep up. And on top of that some difficulties with time differences, close call for Swedish press to make it on time. Some days lucky, others not so. Last three nights the total number of hours of sleep came down to eight. Can´t remember the last time I was that beat up! Incredible to see them riders doing their thing, with or without sleep. Did take me some time to get back in shape. Thanks for following my blog, for the messages, for the mails and even phone calls!
