Bivouac in Copiapo 2011
Rest day and the half way mark of the 2012 Dakar rally is finally here. To the manufacturer´s team riders the meaning of the word is correct, many of them checked in to a hotel already yesterday. To the amateurs it´s a different story. This is the day where they finally get to do a proper check on the vehicle, fix that extra thing they just didn´t have time or energy to do during racing days, clean some clothes and perhaps take the time to talk to their families, blog with the fans and just have a chat with one another.
Tomorrow it all starts again, and another 7 stages before the finish in Lima, Peru.
